Privacy Policy
Effective / Last updated: August 16, 2026
This policy explains what information Tarnvek collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices available. Tarnvek is a business service: most information we handle is provided by a business account holder or generated when that business communicates with its own customers through Tarnvek.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, and the authentication identifiers used to sign you in.
- Business information: business name, industry, location or address details you enter, website, time zone, business hours, and messaging preferences.
- Phone and configuration data: the business phone number you provide, provider-assigned numbers, forwarding method, and activation or registration status.
- Customer and caller data supplied or generated through use of the service: caller and customer phone numbers, names you enter, message content sent and received, conversation records, recovery events, job details such as service type and job value, and review-request records.
- Usage, device, and log data: pages and features used, timestamps, IP address, browser and device information, and diagnostic or error data.
- Support communications: messages you send us and our responses.
- Billing and subscription metadata, such as plan, interval, promotion code, and status, if and when billing is enabled for your account.
2. Where information comes from
- Directly from account holders and their team members during signup, onboarding, and everyday use.
- From the account holder's own customers or callers, for example when someone calls a Tarnvek-connected number or replies to a message.
- From service providers that help operate the service, such as hosting, database, authentication, and telecommunications providers.
- Automatically from your use of the application.
3. Why we use information
- To provide the service: capture missed-call events, route and deliver messages, maintain the conversation inbox, and track jobs and recovered revenue.
- To authenticate users and secure accounts, including detecting and preventing abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access.
- To send and manage honest-feedback review requests you initiate.
- To provide support and respond to questions.
- To measure and improve reliability, performance, and product quality.
- To handle billing and subscription administration when billing is enabled.
- To comply with legal obligations, telecom and carrier requirements, and to enforce our terms.
4. Sharing with service providers and others
We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not use customer message content for third-party advertising. We do share information where it is necessary to run the service or required by law:
- Infrastructure providers that host the application and database and provide authentication.
- Telecommunications providers that transmit calls and messages. Message content and phone numbers must be shared with these providers to deliver a message.
- Analytics, logging, and error-monitoring tools used to keep the service working.
- Payment or billing providers, if and when paid billing is enabled for your account.
- Professional advisors, or a successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- Law enforcement, regulators, or other parties when required by valid legal process or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the service.
Businesses using Tarnvek also share information with destinations they choose, such as the review page they designate. Once a customer follows a link to a third-party site, that site's own policies apply.
5. Retention
We keep information for as long as an account is active and for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations, maintain consent and opt-out evidence, resolve disputes, and protect security. Some records, such as opt-out evidence and audit logs, are intentionally retained after related data is removed so we can prove that requests were honored.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including access controls, tenant-level database access rules, encrypted transport, and server-side handling of privileged credentials. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, and we do not promise that unauthorized access can never occur.
7. Your choices and requests
- Account holders can view and correct much of their business information directly in the product.
- You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. We will respond consistently with applicable law.
- Some requests cannot be fully honored: for example, where we must retain records for legal, security, contractual, or opt-out-evidence reasons.
- If a request concerns information a business entered about its own customers, we may direct the request to that business, which controls that information.
8. SMS and opt-out
Where messaging is enabled, recipients can reply STOP to opt out of further messages, and HELP for help. We honor recognized opt-out keywords and block further messages to that recipient until valid re-consent is received, where provider capabilities allow. See our SMS / Messaging Terms for details.
9. Children
Tarnvek is a business service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child's information was provided to us, contact us so we can address it.
10. United States processing and state privacy rights
Tarnvek and its providers process information in the United States. Depending on where you live, state privacy laws may give you additional rights, such as the right to know, correct, delete, or limit certain uses of personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Available rights vary by state and by the role we play in handling the information.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product and legal requirements change. We will update the effective date at the top of this page, and for material changes we may ask you to review or accept the updated version.
12. Contacting us
You can contact Tarnvek through the support or contact method made available in the service or on this website. Business customers may also use the contact details in their agreement or order form. Additional business and contact details may be provided in executed order forms or pilot agreements, or published here when available.
